It is proving very difficult to watch the US implode all through the unremitting awfulness of the GOP and it’s ‘leader’. The recent defending of the republican staffers hate texts illustrates that the republican party have moved from honest conservatism to fascist. The staffers were shrugged off as ‘youngsters mouthing off, nothin’ to see here’ by the very strange looking JD Vance.

Then you see pictures of these ‘youngsters’. For a start, they ain’t young. Certainly not at the level where a rebuke may set them straight. These are adults, adults who have some influence on policies that affect ordinary people. To espouse the views they did, is nothing short of disgusting. The harsh light of public scrutiny doesn’t seem to have any effect. I haven’t read of mass resignations but that should have been the least to happen.

There are similar currents forming here with the rise of a right wing ‘party’ that ideals itself on Trump and his minions. They seem to be sweeping all the tory voters up which tells you all you need to know. It doesn’t look like YourParty is clicking properly so the new champion of hope is the leader of the Green party. I’d hope they would have a better morality than the erstwhile ‘leader’ of this country, Kier Starmer.

The local authorities (Police, Council etc.) in the west Midlands have banned ‘fans’ of Maccabi Tel Aviv from attending a European tie against Aston Villa. If you want to see why this perfectly proper decision was made, google “Maccabi Tel Aviv in Amsterdam’. Back in the ’80’s English fans were very correctly banned from Europe. Passports confiscated and troublemakers had to report to local police on matchday etc. They were banned for hooliganism.

The Zionist lobby decided that the real reason as far as they are concerned is simple antisemitism. ‘You’re only banning them because you’re pro-Palestine”. And what does Starmer do? He opens an immediate investigation into the ban and decries the decision as wrong. If only his tongue was longer he could really get it on with the Zionists. Shameful. I hope 2025 is the year when everything starts to change for the Zionists. There are some signs that people of influence are rejecting the influence of the various lobby groups that represent the government of Israel.

Of course, now there is a ceasefire, all is fine… um no. It seems only the Palestinians have to follow the rules and be targets for the IDF. Retribution cannot come fast enough. As ever, this is anti-Zionist, not against Judaism, There IS a crucial difference.

Meanwhile, well done all the ordinary joe Americans who turned up for the No Kings protests. Some hope at last…
